Learning Outside the Classroom...

If you are a teacher and looking to inspire your children about the environment then a Local Nature Reserve (LNR), is the ideal venue to cover topics such as geography, history, the local environment, sicence and even music!

We have two reserves, Barnett's Wood Local Nature Reserve in Tunbridge Wells and Cinderhill Community Woodland, in Matfield both are available for schools and after-school clubs to use.

To make the most of your experience in these wonderful greenspaces we have designed educational resources that, which you are welcome to download.

After you have visited either of the sites, then please could you let the education officer know by calling 01580 212972.

Alternativly fill in the Natural England Form  and post it to us in the office for our records.
