Kent High Weald Partnership is a non profit conservation organisation based in Tunbridge Wells Borough. Our mission statement is:
We aim to connect people and nature through conservation, education, and wellbeing. Through its work KHWP want to support the development of resilient communities and resilient ecosystems that mean people and wildlife can thrive together.
Based in the iconic Bedgebury Pinetum We run Forest School activities for local schools and Forest School training for adults . Forest School has been proven to improve children’s self esteem; confidence; emotional intelligence; resilience and independent learning.
With our team of Forest school experienced staff, including 2 with teaching qualifications. we have been helping enhance the lives of children in the Tunbridge Wells area since 2012 and have been providing training since 2016.
As part of our Forest School suit of activities we offer a Forest School inspired holiday camp.
Sessions will run from 9.30am-3.30pm – £50 per child per day (exc. booking fees) Suitable ages 7-12
A full day of fun activities including: Fire Lighting; Whittling; crafts, nature play and much more.
You can drop your children off with us knowing they will have an enriching experience and come home tired, dirty and probably carrying a range of hand whittled objects.
