We are recruiting a trainee!

We are looking for an enthusiastic person who wants to gain valuable experience, qualifications, and skills in conservation and site management. This traineeship will provide you with a fantastic opportunity to learn and develop key skills such habitat management, leading volunteers, species identification, and community engagement, and will provide you with a strong foundation for a future career in conservation. The role is voluntary with a budget for training and expenses.

Ideally the traineeship will start in August, working 2-3 days a week and last for 9-12 months but start date and duration can be flexible. Hours are also flexible as we understand this may need to fit into college or work schedules. However, our volunteer task days run on Wednesdays and Thursdays so candidates should be available to work either or both of these days. A selection of relevant training courses will be available to the successful candidate and will be determined based on the needs and aspirations of the trainee.
