Kent High Weald Countryside Partnership are looking for a Full Time Woodland Officer!
Woodland Officer (Permanent, Full Time, £26,515-£28,850 per annum)
A rare and exciting opportunity to join our small, friendly team helping to look after the woodlands and greenspaces in the Kent High Weald for nature and people.
The Kent High Weald Partnership is based at Bedgebury Pinetum and operates across the borough of Tunbridge Wells, working within the varied and beautiful landscape of the High Weald National Landscape. The Partnership aims to connect people and nature through conservation, education and wellbeing.
As Woodland Officer you will be responsible for a number of our woodland sites, leading on habitat and access management, and engaging with stakeholders and the local community. Your main tasks will be to oversee the stewardship of your sites, ensuring they are managed sustainably and in line with the management plans which you will monitor and review.
We are looking for an enthusiast person with knowledge, experience and practical skills in woodland habitat management and community engagement. The role requires good communication skills, and a self-motivated and flexible approach to work. Please see the Job Description below for more details.
