Forest School
With a team of trained Forest School leaders, we have been delivering Forest School sessions in and around the borough of Tunbridge Wells Since 2012. Sharing our local woodlands with eager children where we have supervised hundreds of fire lighting experiences; thousands of den creations and the cooking of countless marshmallows.
Our practice allows the children to see their environment as a sensory playground and within this playground they learn confidence, resilience and ways and means of communicating effectively with others. Many of them surprise themselves with their own capabilities.
“Many thanks for such enjoyable, well planned and well delivered sessions – the children have got so much out of them” – Caroline Hawker, Head Teacher, Hawkhurst Primary
Our programmes can be delivered at a range of countryside locations and nature reserves we manage around Tunbridge Wells or our permanent Forest School at Bedgebury Pinetum, near Goudhurst, Kent.
Bedgebury is also the base for our training programme, with our qualified instructors delivering fully accredited training and qualifications up to a Level 3 certificate in Forest School.
