Perhaps you are planning to start a Forest School at your work, thinking about a career change or maybe this innovative method of education has caught your eye and you want to find out more. Join us for this introductory session where we will be exploring the ethos behind Forest School and sharing some basic practical projects. This will include some theory, fire lighting and tool use.

Understanding and Facilitating Natural Play

This one-day course for anyone who wants to know more about play in the outdoors. It will help participants understand and recognise when play is initiated and how to facilitate play. The course will include some practical games and activities as well as some simple craft activities.

Forest School Refresher

Do you want to brush up on your knots and knives? Do you need to relight your fire skills and put a spark back into your SPICES? We are running this refresher for anyone who would like to aspects of the original Forest School leadership training course including play, behaviour as communication, tool use and fire. It will also include the trademark cooked lunch.

Who is it for? Existing FS Leaders and unqualified FS assistants.
