Forest School Training

Bedgebury Bright Sparks

As long time champions of Forest School’s inspirational approach to learning, and connecting to the natural world, we have made it part of our mission to spread the word. We aim to raise awareness through the provision of training prospective Forest School leaders by providing nationally accredited qualifications.

“Our school has just completed the teacher training aspect of Forest School training.  We have been out in minus temperatures, drizzle, under awnings (we even saw the sun once) and have enjoyed every minute (well nearly every minute!).  All the staff we have worked with: Saul, Kelly, Vikki and Ian have been dedicated and positive, well prepared and well resourced.  As a group we’ve bonded well over our campfire meals and have learnt many new skills.  We are now all raring to get out with our children for what we are sure will be a succession of hugely valuable learning experiences.”  Nicky Mitchel, Deputy Head Teacher Lamberhurst St Mary’s School

KHWP are able to offer Ofqual Forest School training at our permanent Forest School site within Bedgebury Pinetum.

We can deliver Bespoke Forest School Training on your school grounds, please contact us for more info on this offer.

Our training is offered one day a week for a number of weeks rather than in a block.  This approach is demonstrably more inclusive, flexible and allowed greater reflection ensuring enhanced immersion in the course.
