Business Partnership Opportunities

Does your business want to make a positive impact on your local environment and community? By means of the following opportunities you can work with Kent High Weald Partnership to make a real difference whilst simultaneously enhancing your team and staff wellbeing.

Environmental and social project sponsorship

Project sponsorship will enable your business to support your local environment and community, whilst at the same time raising its profile and enhancing greenspaces for your staff and customers to enjoy. From small one-off projects, to longer term projects, KHWP offers a range of options to suit your business’s green and social objectives.

Examples of environmental projects you can sponsor include:

  • Creation of reptile and amphibian hibernacula
  • Removal of invasive non native plants from ancient woodland
  • Heathland, pond, or wildflower meadow restoration
  • Access improvements to natural spaces for communities
  • Provision of tools, equipment and vehicles

Examples of social projects you can sponsor include:

  • Forest school programmes for disadvantaged children or families
  • Summer camps and wild child holiday activities for kids from areas of high deprivation
  • Training opportunities for young people
  • Nature based wellbeing programmes for adults with poor mental health

Corporate volunteer days

KHWP offer corporate volunteer days all year round for teams of various sizes. You can help with one of our nature reserve management tasks such as controlling invasive species, scrub clearance, wildflower meadow management, and tree planting.  If you sponsor one of our environmental projects, your team could come out and help on your own project.

Our corporate volunteer days can be a great opportunity for your staff to learn a new skill – tasks like traditional coppicing, hedge laying, and constructing boardwalks are available every year. These can also be offered as dedicated workshops for your team.

To make an enquiry for a corporate volunteer day, please email cmp@khwp.org.uk
